Getting Started
How do I add a habit?
Tap the + button in the top right corner of the main screen to create a new habit. Give it a name, choose an icon and color, and set which days of the week you want to
track it.
How do I check in for the day?
Tap the camera icon on any habit row. Your device camera will open — take a photo to complete your check-in for that habit today.
Can I replace today’s check-in photo?
Yes. Tap the camera icon on an already-completed habit. You’ll be asked to confirm before the new photo replaces the old one.
Tracking & Streaks
How are streaks calculated?
Your current streak counts consecutive days you’ve checked in. Miss a day and it resets. Your best streak is saved permanently.
Where can I see my history?
Tap any habit to open its detail view. You’ll see a 30-day calendar grid showing which days you completed it, along with your current and best streaks.
Can I view my past photos?
Yes — from the habit detail view, tap any completed day to view the photo you took.
Privacy
Does the app collect any data?
No. Photo Habit Tracker stores everything locally on your device. No account is required and no data is ever sent to any server.
Where are my photos stored?
Photos are stored privately on your device and are not added to your Camera Roll unless you explicitly save them.
Troubleshooting
The camera isn’t opening.
Make sure you’ve granted camera permission to Photo Habit Tracker. Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera and enable it for this app.
My habits aren’t showing today.
Habits only appear on the days they’re scheduled. Check the habit’s schedule settings to make sure today’s day of the week is enabled.
